Sally Was Here is a San Francisco based artist, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

She studied Fine Arts at Universidad Nacional de las Artes in Buenos Aires, as well as teaching French as a foreign language.

Her work is centered in collage, painting and multi-media work, pondering the enigma of change and transformation. 

In 2013 she has been presenting The Drama Queens, a series of women collage portraits. 

In 2019, started performing as a Street Artist under the name of eldiaquemeodies. She transferred her collages into stickers and put them on the walls of cities like Paris, London, Lisbon, Buenos Aires and San Francisco. Moving into Stickers allowed Laura to developed a straight connection with her public.

In this moment, Laura works under the nametag of SALLY WAS HERE. making her first steps into Paste Up Art.

​Laura has lived and worked in Buenos Aires, Paris, and San Francisco. She participated in many art exhibitions at the Alliance française of Buenos Aires, The Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco and multiple art walks around the city, involving art, community and languages. She has also performed and been featured at the Yerba Buena Night Festival in San Francisco in 2013 and 2014, as well as at The Autumn Lights Festival in Oakland, in 2017. Currently, she performs as a Street Artist and teaches at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
